Counties Rugby Tournament
Friday 3rd June, our school team
competed in the Counties rugby tournament and placed 2nd. The day
was full of hard tackles, quick side steps and forceful scrums. Some of the
teams we versed were Randwick Park School, Wiri School and Finlayson School. We
found Randwick Park a tough team as they were the winners from previous years,
but we managed to draw with them. Overall it was an awesome day and we are
really proud of our results.
We would like to thank our coaches for all the
hard work they put into our team. Thanks to Matua Fou, Mr Dawson, T-Rex and
Tane.
My highlight was when I scored a try against the
Randwick team. (Paea)
